24 August 2012–After screening a record number of more than 260 entries this year, the 2012 search for Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations of the Philippines proceeds to Field Validation phase. TAYO Foundation, Inc. takes pride in this particular part of the search because it involves actual visitation and observation of the youth-led programs on the ground, which is not a common practice among national searches. TAYO Awards Foundation sends its warmest congratulations to the all organizations who passed the screening process. Only ten (10) organizations will go on to represent each area for the Area Finals in NCR, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao after the validation, which is scheduled to last until September 3, 2012. A total of 51 organizations will have to be validated in order to finalize the TAYO 10 Area Finalists. Organizations listed above can expect a call from TAYO.
Also, TAYO extends its deepest gratitude to all youth organizations who submitted entries to TAYO’s most participative search to date. Number of entries received was highest in Luzon, followed by NCR, Visayas, and Mindanao. Notifications will be sent to all participating organizations of TAYO 10.
