ADHIKA FELLOWSHIP
The Philippines has a long history of human rights cases dating back from colonization to the recent wars against corruption, drugs, climate change, the pandemic, among many things. These offenses have allowed various national and international organizations to continue their human rights work in many parts of the Philippines. TAYO Awards Foundation, which was founded on the mission of retelling the stories of Filipino youth, has told many of these human rights stories.
Together with The Asia Foundation, TAYO Awards Foundation brings you the Adhika Fellowship, a program anchored on the hope of rebuilding communities through human rights empowerment in the youth advocacy sector in the Philippines. It is an incubation program that focuses on the interconnectedness of advocacy-based projects to human rights.
